A common cry today is "NO STATE SPONSORED RELIGION"!

But the problem we have today is that many try to prevent ANY exercise of religion,
which simply SPONSORS a STATE RELIGION of Atheism!!

The First Amendment ("Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, ...") has a (usually ignored) second part to that first of three phrases that regards prohibiting "THE FREE EXERCISE THEREOF"! (Emphasis added.)
It is actually very similar to the Third Amendment which states that no (state sponsored) Soldier shall ... forcibly enter our house. It does NOT say that homeowners can not leave their house and enter government, but is simply a condition on where the Government can NOT go. (British Soldiers had habits of showing up at the colonialist's house and would invite themselves in for food and lodging. Our founders did NOT want that permitted.) The Third Amendment is NOT a restriction on where free people can go to exercise their freedoms, but only where government can not forcibly intrude into!
Likewise, the First Amendment is NOT a restriction on where free people can go to exercise their religion! If they wanted to exercise religion within their homes, that was fine. If they exercised religion outside of their homes, that was also fine - even if it was in a government setting. The protection was that Government can not demand that you exercise any religion - including the Religion of Atheism.
If we let them prohibit the free exercise of the religion that this country was clearly ¹ founded upon, they have just established the religion of Atheism! And they are just one step closer to infringing on the right of the people to keep and bear arms!!!!
We should have NO problem if U.S. Citizens do not want to agree with, nor personally participate in the "religion" that was a major reason why this country was formed, but anyone who tries to strip our history of such facts, OR tries to prevent one's free exercise of that religion is simply INFRINGING on U.S. citizen's constitutional RIGHTS!
Let them prevent free exercise of religion by forcing State Sponsored Atheism? Then they will ALSO infringe on the Second Amendment by forcing themselves into your house to remove your Constitutional right to "keep and bear Arms"!!

1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Amendments to the United States Constitution:

No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
